System Requirements

Hot-Label is designed to work with common livestream seller setups using thermal label printers and Google Chrome.

Thermal printer support

On Windows (PC), Hot-Label supports virtually all thermal printers that can be installed in Windows and used from Chrome. If your printer shows up as a normal printer in Windows, it will almost certainly work with Hot-Label.

On macOS, Hot-Label currently supports many popular thermal printers, including all Arkscan and Zebra models. If your printer is not supported yet, we’ll work with you to find a solution. We are constantly adding support for more printer models and label sizes over time.

How Hot-Label works

Hot-Label uses a combination of a Chrome extension and a small print server on your computer to enable instant, hands-free printing.

  • The Chrome extension watches your livestream sales as they happen.
  • When a sale completes, it sends a secure message to the local print server running on your machine.
  • The print server talks directly to your thermal printer and fires the label immediately—no clicks, no copy/paste, no downloads.

This combination is what lets Hot-Label print instantly as a sale ends, completely hands-free.
